I havent blogged in a while.. My bad, its just that nothing intresting ever happens.
i have got a friggin science test tomorrow, if thats not bad enough..i have to bring my science BOOK to class, which does NOT have the 2 pieces of homework that i said i did..and it is now over a week due.. ='( im gonna DIE!! =( Ahh well.. 8-mile is OFFICIALLY my favourite movie of 08, Im going to give a review of the movie myself. Ok, so the story is about eminems life (Not exactly HIS life). Eminem plays the role of middle-aged man Jimmy Smith Junior AKA B. Rabbit AKA Bunny rabbit.. It explains the things that happen IN his life.. all the bull**** and bad happenings in his life but it isnt a documentary or anything..so dont be expecting no 'Bloods vs. Crips eh! His Best friend "future" got him a chance to start his Free-style rapping career at the start of the movie, but his blows his chances of overtaking the reputation of 'The Free World' Leaders/Inportant characters (which consists of 'Papa doc' who is the leader, 'Licketty Splitt' who is Papa doc's right hand man, 'Lotto' who is Papa doc's "ENFORCER".. i call him that because he looks the black version of Hulk.. DAYYYYUUMM! hahaha.. Anywayz.. carrying on, Future isnt B. Rabbits on Best friend ok.. : his other friends are Cheddar Bob..He's a white boy that likes to copy the things that B. Rabbit does, B. Rabbit is Cheddar Bobs idol, Then we have Soul.. A fatass Black man who only talks bout hooking up with girls and 'getting all the bitches'. Then we have another black guy but i forgot his name.. Hes more of the 'Political point of view' person, he cares about America's people but has no power to do anything about it. There are a few sad parts in the middle of the movie, Wayne..who is also B. Rabbits friend says he can get him some studio time with some big star to make a demo cd and also promises 'Alex' "B. Rabbits Girlfriend" that he can help her with a book that she is working on, if she sells her book, she can persue her dream and fly to new york. Wayne fucks B. Rabbits girl and he finds out, he beats the shit outta Wayne, Future was right "Wayne's promises are a bunch of shit" But Bunny rabbit also falls out with future because future signed him up for a free-style competition when he knows good enough that he shouldnt. His mom gets an eviction letter for not paying her rent, which was 3 months late. Her boyfriend finds out and has a nasty fight with B. Rabbit and then leaves dramatically.. B. Rabbit only wants to protect his mother who is played by Kim Bassinger and his lil sis 'Lucy' (I think :S) . Silver clouds start shining when his mother wins a lottery and gets $1300. Alex comes to the "New Detroit Stamping company" to tell B. Rabbit that shes leaving to New York soon. She watches the free-style competition that future NAIVELY signs B. Rabbit to, B. Rabbit apologizes Future and continues with the competition. He won the first round against Licketty Splitt, and then beats Lotto in the second round.. he advances to Round 3 Which is the championships. He starts earning rep because he is one HELL OF A RAPPER =P
Then the movies ends with B. Rabbit not wanting to join Future hosting 'The shelter' which is where all the free-style battles are held. He walks away through the alley-way and "Lose yourself" starts playing and credits appear =)
